MY REVIEW OF Band of Four

Jane had always been home-schooled by her dad. When he disappears unexpectedly, Jane’s life changes dramatically. At her new school, she meets and befriends Alex, another new student. Their friendship soon includes Brian and Sophie. After learning that all four were musically inclined, they begin practicing together, only to discover they were creating some type of magic. And that, unknowingly, places them in the path of someone with evil intentions.

This was a delightful story. The characters each had stand out personalities. The eventual camaraderie of the four teens gave me fond memories of my own school years, when friendship, secrets, and the mystery of the future were the only things that mattered. Add to that, music and magic, and you have an intriguing plot. I can see more adventures in the future for these four youngsters.
