***MY HONEST REVIEW OF JACK SPADE***
James is a down and out private investigator. He doesn’t
have much business to keep him busy so basically he sleeps at his desk all day.
He dreams that he is a successful P.I. named Jack Spade, who has a case of
locating a beautiful woman who doesn’t want to be found. No matter where James
goes, he falls asleep and picks up where he left off in his Jack Spade dream.
I like the idea of a story within a story. This was a fun
read trying to solve the case. Of course, like Spade, I didn’t know who to
trust. And I wondered if James would be getting a similar case because I felt
he needed more depth to his character, and more storyline. But my assessment
seems off after reading the last paragraph.
